I completely understand how you’re feeling. I was in remission from cancer too, and chemotherapy took a real toll on my body. I remember wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again. I just wanted to encourage you that, in my experience, it really did get better with time. I was cured five years ago now, and although recovery wasn’t overnight, my body healed more and more as the months and years went on. Be patient with yourself and give yourself grace; your body has been through so much. I’m rooting for you and praying that you continue to get stronger every day ❤️

I know this isn't the news you want to hear but I'm 5 years out from chemo and I still have lingering issues. some days are better than others but I still get sick out of the blue on a weekly basis.

I did it too, and boy does it ever suck. What helped me more than anything was sleeping as much as I could and relying heavily on nausea meds. It gets better. It still sucks. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I promise it gets better, but I know how hard it is when you’re going through it.💜 Have you tried making a list of things you want to do once you’re feeling better? I find that it really helps to have things to look forward to. I just got back from vacation five months post chemo and stem cell transplant. I started planning the trip when I still felt terrible and honestly I was a little nervous if I was going to be up to to going on the trip. I planned it anyway because it gave me something to look forward and I ended up having the best time and felt great. Be patient with yourself and be kind to yourself.💜

So sorry this happened to you. It is debilitating. I had frontal lobe brain surgery to remove a tumor in 2019. Been on disability since and coming off meds. This to will pass. Be present in the moment and do therapy. Therapy helps me. I’ve not been the same since surgery. Cancer sucks.

Never give up. I know its cliche, but that got me through 8 rounds. 30+ days each time before I was recovered enough to do the next round. There is life on the other side, but it is a long journey.

I still have some lingering issues almost two months later. Brain fog, numbness in my hands and feet and upset stomach. hang in there
