The removal process is up to you but i swear by using tend skin! Majorly reduces ingrowns, then you can use whatever product to lighten the hyperpigmentation since it’s not happening over and over again

In the beard/razor aisle there is basically shave powder which is mix it yourself "nair" for sensitive skin. I use it on my BH a couple of times a year cuz that forest just gets out of control. It does smell something awful but I think it's called magic shave powder it's in a gold can with a steel lid in the shaving section probably on the top shelf.
