@stalkers.canada: John Madeley Jr., of Barrie, Ontario, is facing charges in the Toronto police corruption investigation after the case was sent directly to the Superior Court through a direct indictment. His father, John Madeley Sr., a recently retired Toronto Police officer, is also accused. None of the allegations have been proven in court. Madeley Jr., 29, who joined the Toronto Police Service in 2022, is charged with breach of trust and unauthorized use of a computer. He has been suspended without pay and remains out of custody pending court proceedings. Madeley Sr., 55, is charged with breach of trust, unauthorized use of a computer, firearms offences, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. He also previously faced charges linked to an alleged illegal online gambling operation. The wider Project South investigation also involves several other accused, including former officer Timothy Barnhardt and alleged organized crime members.
