And I may add that Switch 2 cartridges go up to 64gb in storage size. Games like Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Remake are 90gbs those games can’t physically fit on a cartridge.

I have multiple switch and switch 2 (collector). I can play the same game on any console with the game key cards. Just insert the card and play the game

They don’t stop bro. They are misinformation machines. This is the same for how both Xbox and PlayStation -currently- have their games. Most games are still on the cards or discs. Only a small percentage is key on a disc or game key card. Game key cards aren’t new to Nintendo either. They literally existed on the og switch, they just weren’t called game key cards. The change to calling them game key cards and putting the information on the front of the box is a good thing. Now it’s easier to tell. With the switch 1 games, you wouldn’t really know unless you read the back of the case. Ex. Metal Gear Solid collection volume 1. It’s on the disc for ps5 and Xbox, but it’s a game key card on the og switch. It says 32 gb required download on the back of the case. I had no idea that it was a game key card until I placed the card in my system. Now? All you have to do is look at the front of the case. If it doesn’t say game key card, the game will work without ever needing the internet.

They’re called game key cards. Virtual game cards are the new digital games system that once a digital game is loaded onto your system then you won’t need an internet connection to prove you own it and can just play it. The virtual game cards are tradable through other Switches on the same account so you can lend those digital games to other people who are connected through the same family plan. Yes, those games are only available to do so for a limited time. It’s like a rental system

There’s even a website that tracks what games are physically on switch 1 and 2 carts. Theres only a handful of download carts. 95 percent of games are physically on carts, it’s just misinformation on purpose from the haters.

If they decide to shut down everything on there end you can’t never play your physical key card again. I’m not spreading lies. I just see through the bull.
