You have to be dead-center with your crosshairs. It's the hardest sniping of any COD game. CallofDuty tried getting rid of the sniping community with this game, they kinda did. The sniping community was basically 80% of CoD players, everything revolved around 1 gun, a sniper. They started making faster TTK to counter Quickscopers.

Respectfully, I am dog shit at sniping. Always have been. Only time I use them is to get camos. However, the most fun using the snipers I had was on BO3. Not sure why
