i think taking inspiration to dress or do your hair or make up a certain way is okay if it’s taken from someone who is not in your surroundings like a celebrity, influencer, a character etc. if you straight up copy what your friend or someone you know does with their appearance that’s kind of disrespectful imo. but if you’re famous and have a big following copying other influencers directly isn’t great either if it’s something very specific and considered the other person’s brand
