All I know is that you can't take things literally but you look at the emotions. How did you feel when you saw the purse? How did you feel looking through it? How did you feel after? If your dreams are predictive this could indicate an upcoming situation where you will feel the same emotions.

My take is the purse is maybe your home, community, or environment. You are seeking something within the area of this place. Then the moment you find something it may not be what you are seeking. It is then you realize you’re investing time looking for something in the wrong place and possibly missing out on other opportunity to find the right thing if you looked beyond on another place you aren’t focusing your attention on.
