@mistermnn: 🆘🚨24 HRS TO LIVE! FELICITY NEEDS RESCUE BEFORE WEDNESDAY 7/8🚨🆘 This is Felicity. She’s estimated to be 4 yrs old. She hasn’t even been at the shelter for a full 2 weeks and is already scheduled to lose her life. We aren’t sure what her life was like before arriving at the shelter, but a lot of her front teeth are worn down to the gums, like she had been gnawing on something for a while. She’s had a really tough time since arriving at the shelter. The shelter has been overwhelming for her and she can be very defensive and intense in her kennel - baring teeth, growling, snarling, barking. Take her away from that setting though, and her whole demeanor changes. She’s timid but you can see, she wants to connect. With a calm, gentle approach, she’ll willingly approach for affection. She’ll remain relaxed. She did have a few moments where she let out warnings (growl, teeth bare) when moving too fast, but it’s night and day from the intense behavior she’s exhibited from behind her kennel door. In playgroup, Felicity prefers to keep to herself and will correct dogs for space. Sadly, despite making some progress,  Felicity is already out of time. She dies TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 7/8 anytime after 8AM. She is RESCUE ONLY due to her defensive behavior. She needs an experienced breed savvy human who will GO SLOW with her. We’ve seen her start to let her guard down and hope a responsible person can continue her progress. We don’t want this to be end of her journey.  Felicity is waiting at South LA Shelter.
