Whenever I see someone hating on Mushoku Tensei, I ask them one question Can you name five things that are bad about the show that don't involve Rudeus? Most people can't. They always come back to the same answer, which makes me wonder if they actually hate the anime or if they just hate one character. You can dislike a character and still admit a show is good. The animation is incredible, the world-building is amazing, the story is well written, and the cast is great. As for Rudeus, yes, he's weird but that's the point. His character starts at rock bottom, and the story is about whether someone like that can change. Character development isn't about pretending someone never did bad things; it's about showing growth. People always focus on who he was, but ignore who he's trying to become. You don't have to like him, but reducing the entire series to "Rudeus is a weirdo" completely misses what the anime is actually about. It genuinely makes me wonder how many people criticizing the series have actually watched it all the way through instead of just repeating what they've heard online.

This is probably before right well it is before diddy has a kid with his cousin eris and I believe the writer idk his name add a plot like where Aisha his half sister slept with his kid ars oh but is got removed because of the backlash not because of terrible plot or maybe the fact that it’s disgusting and streaking his step mom’s underwear and wearing it around the house can’t forget that and that’s just stuff I remember that anime is TERRIBLE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED but that’s jus my opinion
