It is so easy to get caught up in the heavy, dividing noise of this world. Everywhere we look, there are forces trying to pull us apart, categorize us, and make us forget who we are to one another. We see it happening every day—the distractions and arguments of this world creeping into our homes and separating families over things that won't even matter in the long run. But we have to remember that the world didn't build this family, and we shouldn't let it tear us apart either. No outside debate or political jargon is ever worth losing the people who matter most. In times like these, we have to actively choose to find the light in this world and bring that light back into our homes. We strengthen one another not by demanding that everyone think exactly alike, but by committing to truly listen to one another. It’s about building a safe harbor of mutual respect where everyone belongs, no matter what. When we lower the outside volume and focus on lifting each other up, we remember that our core family values—unconditional love, kindness, and unwavering support—are the ultimate light that no worldly noise can dim. Our younger generation needs to learn these things, but they can only learn them if we are willing to teach them. They are watching how we handle disagreement, how we treat each other, and whether our doors stay open when things get loud.
