@c5news: Count Binface has thrown his lid in the ring to compete for the Clacton by-election after Nigel Farage resigned as an MP on Tuesday, before immediately announcing his intention to contest the seat he is vacating in what many have branded a “stunt”. Labour, the Conservatives, Lib Dems, and the Greens have said they will not stand a candidate, meaning the Count is the only one prepared to try and curb the Reform leader’s run to power. The Count has never been to Clacton, but says that’s probably not an issue for voters as the “incumbent doesn’t actually spend any time there” either.
