Surprisingly the two year ban only affects Jamaica ( that I’m aware of) applied for a H2B and because the ban was still active I didn’t get through

As someone with 4 J1 visa it’s not everyone that get that 2 year lock she’s referring to, but if you get it will be on the visa

both of my j1 visas say bearer is not subject. 2 year rule does not apply and then Jamaica in brackets beside it.

It’s very easy . Just apply for the waiver to be removed after the marriage or when u apply for the h2b program . It’s not that complicated .
