If you have a family history of breast cancer I’d reconsider a prophylactic mastectomy to remove all the tissue and most insurance will cover it even if they won’t cover traditional top surgery. And since it’s considered medically necessary it qualifies for financial assistance if your hospital has that and you qualify. Insurance would then also have to cover any revisions if necessary and depending on insurance they may cover masculinizing reconstruction as well. Not sure where you’re located, but I’m in Texas. Used this route since I have an extremely high breast cancer risk (over 50% and that’s not including 2 gene mutations that may or may not increase my risk even more). Wound up only owing $1200 and that’s because my surgeon doesn’t offer financial assistance BUT I was able to go on a payment plan for the balance. If you’re okay with the possibility of non-traditional results it’s definitely a good option. I went with a surgeon associated with an oncologists office that has performed multiple prophylactic mastectomies on trans and nonbinary patients and couldn’t be happier with the results!

Please reconsider, I’ve been a follower for many years. God made you perfectly, don’t remove what was God given in case something “bad happens”. I understand if there is something there health wise to consider the too surgery but otherwise please pray about it. 🙏
