my last first date, I said I didn't need someone trying to fix All my problems lol because we were talking about something and this guy that was texting me constantly and always offering me help(to entertain, to decompress, etc, just offering himself as the fix for every complaint or inconvenience I may have every second on the day) came up. I stand by that, I did clarify that offering isn't a problem if you like someone more though. the more you like someone, the more you appreciate those things whereas if you don't they're just irritating and suffocating
