@chronicllyillchronicles: Being understood is one of the greatest gifts you can give someone living with a chronic illness. You don't have to have all the answers, just the willingness to learn and meet them where they are at. 🤍 #chronicillness #chronicillnessawareness #chronicpain #chronicillnesswarrior #chronicillnesslife

chronic illness can be so isolating and someone choosing to learn about it changes that. that sentence does more than most people realize 💜

I used to think this too. Then I realized some people "research it" for five minutes so they can tell you what you should be doing to get cured, not so they can empathize and better understand what you're going through.🫤

Having someone truly try to understand your illness is such a gift 😤 and I found real support for my body through better eating honestly daily. I beg you to read Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by Loren Green because it taught me about whole body wellbeing while managing chronic conditions now truly. Lost 24lbs and I navigate my health with so much more knowledge and peace honestly daily. This book is a lifesaver really))

I've had people make accommodations for me because I've said I can't do certain things, and I appreciate that. But when someone goes out of their way to really learn, research, and understand how to support me-that's something deeper. That's compassion, love, and a genuine desire to understand me.

Heres a flower💐to everyone fighting battles that nobody knows about, I'm proud of you. I know some days it feels like there's no way forward but there is if you can't find it today, find it tomorrow but don't stop looking. You still matter, You are enough, even on your quietest days. No one truly knows what it's like to be you or how hard you've fought just to make it through today. But you're still here. Still breathing. Still trying. And that is something to be incredibly proud of. Keep going because the world is better with you in it 🤍

He looked up all of them. Even the ones I only thought I might have. He learned how to help me even through were thousands of miles apart. He taught me how to help myself. He sat with me during doctor’s visits. And streamed movies for me when I was in the er. He learned what foods I can and can’t eat. How to keep my hr down. How to protect me. He learned how to talk to me during episodes and how to ease my anxiety. He loved the worst parts of me, and that led to him learning *me*. Forever grateful for him.
