But then when your siblings grow up you where more the mom figure then the sister so you don’t have the sibling relationship with them so your then pushed to the side. Because you can’t stop being the responsible one .

I am the oldest who actually became a therapist too! 😮💨 thankfully due to my training, and years of therapy I have been able to take a step back from holding the emotional weight of the family and to put in boundaries for myself. Still a work in progress, but better. 😌

i am the middle child but the eldest daughter. i am protective, i am strong and i will always and have always put everyone first but that strength only carries you for so long. i broke last year and this year have decided to do things for myself. adventures i want to go on etc. but my gosh am i made to feel quilty. not by my family, they push me to. but by others.
