You can apply for another visa while you are in Australia as long as there is no 8503 condition on your tourist visa. You could lodge a student visa (please note genuine temporary entrant requirements). Or if you secure an employer who can sponsor you, you could lodge a Temporary Skill Shortage 482 visa. Please note your bridging visa will not come with work rights. You can also lodge a partner visa (bridging visa will come with work rights). 2. If you hold a student visa. If your student visa expires within the next 90 days, you could be eligible for a temporary activity 408 visa. You could apply for a 485 visa if you are eligible. You can also apply for another student visa if you have a valid COE. 3. If you hold a temporary activity 408 visa.
