@kylies_journey1: Update on Kylie So the Infectious Disease team found multiple organisms growing on Kylies recent cultures One of them being staph infection She is on antibiotics for the infections Kylie has lost a lot of weight the past few days She went from 131 pounds to 94 pounds When Kylie was born she weighed 83 pounds so she is close to her birth weight Losing too much weight can be another thing that changes her status on the transplant list We will be meeting with her dietitian today to see what we can do to help her weight Her FIO2 requirements have been 80100 over the weekend The transplant team will be coming by soon to address some concerns so I will keep you all updated Please continue to pray that Kylie feels better and for a donor soon #explorepage #medicalstudent #usa #specialneeds #canada🇨🇦
