For anyone not interested in the “girly animations” or wanting a generally more subtle experience, try the Femme Hero mod. Link is edited to be a girl but still androgynous, and it includes pronoun edits and v/o mods (no ai voice, which is not to say the linkle mod does, just a note)

lol linkle isn't a female version of Link, she's a FAN of Link that is trying to emulate him. She was also a very established popular character long before Hyrule Warriors, she was introduced in Link's Crossbow Training lol. Hence why she uses crossbows?
