@baby.mommy.athletics: This mama is 10 years postpartum after two C-sections, and instead of chasing endless crunches, we're rebuilding her core the way it was designed to function—through breath, stability, strength, and coordinated movement. Here's why these exercises made the program: ✨ Glute bridge + ball squeeze: Reconnects the glutes, inner thighs, pelvic floor, and deep core to create a stable foundation. ✨ Deadbugs: Teaches the core to resist unwanted movement while coordinating the arms and legs—essential for protecting the spine during everyday life. ✨ Glute bridge + heel raises: Challenges pelvic stability while keeping the glutes and deep core engaged under tension, improving control and endurance. ✨ Bear hold + ball squeeze: Builds deep core strength, shoulder stability, and pelvic control while increasing abdominal tension without repetitive spinal flexion. ✨ Standing dumbbell march: Trains anti-rotation and single-leg stability, helping your core transfer strength into real-life movements like carrying kids, groceries, and lifting safely. Your core isn't just your abs. It's a team of muscles—including your diaphragm, deep abdominals, pelvic floor, back, and glutes—that work together to create pressure, stability, and strength. Whether you're 6 weeks postpartum or 10 years postpartum, rebuilding your core is about teaching these muscles to work together again—not simply making them burn. ✨ Strong moms aren't built overnight.
They're built one intentional rep at a time. Save this workout for later and send it to a mama who thinks it's "too late" to reconnect with her core. 💖 #PostpartumFitness #Postpartum #BabyMommyAthletics #Csection #Core

This is me...only 3 c-sections. Last one was 10 1/2 years ago. So sick of my apron belly. 😩 Plus being in peri-menopause doesn't help.
