I have a post office box. I also get Informed Delivery. Informed Delivery showed me that I was getting a birthday card, but instead I got a pink 'postage due' notice. When I took the pink slip to the window, I was told that they lost my mail. What can I do?

My one mail lady, who's retired now, worked all through the lock down. I left her a Xmas card with a gift card because she worked so hard and was super nice. And I always have cold drinks in the fridge so if I see the new mailman I offer a cold drink because it's so hot right now. I don't know why they can't put AC in the mail trucks.
