I don’t really like glazing Yana knowing the kind of person she is, but one thing that I like about her is her character designs. Comparing the characters designs in TWST and sparkling stars, TWST is obviously the winner here. She was able to create characters that you can tell who they’re based on. With sparkling stars, the characters look hella basic and boring. If you were to show a random person a character from the sparkling stars game, they probably wouldn’t know who they’re based on

I think the main difference is that Yana is a fan of Disney so there’s more love so to speak put into the designs. But this new game is made by a otome (?) game company with no one specifically designing the characters.

it's definitely bc they not only brought a mangaka who is also known for their character designs and interest in alt fashion,but bc yana has the passion this game lacks. yana was always a big Disney fan and you can see that before she even made twst,so ofc she'll put more effort on capturing that Disney vibe unlike this game which is clearly trying to be a copy pasted boring otome game with no passion or originality just to win some money

They look like they're from an entirely different game that doesn't correlate to Disney. And its so weird but I struggle to visualize Donald as an anime boy. I know it sounds weird but knowing his cartoon history I just struggle to imagine him to be a anime boy

Not even trying to compare in a way that “twst is better than anything and it has no flaws” but it really was made with thought and love for Disney 😭😭 I was hopeful for it but after seeing the designs and the ai stuff I definitely won’t be playing

I didn’t think I was going to play it anyway them being an entire boy band the character designs.. just no. I am a die heart twst fan and I can also fully admit I DO NOT like yana but I can also admit the way she wrote and designed the characters she made based off them are way better
