I think the reason it’s also now seen as a situationship is because Zach clearly felt like he needed to define it somehow but “exclusive” isn’t a definition especially since it’s the last week and you’ve been coupled up since the beginning, I would hope you’d be leaving exclusive. The fact that he defined it by not actually defining it makes it look even more like a situationship since at its core a situationship is basically a relationship without a title, especially after Kayda said they’d be basically dating but not really….

I think first and foremost they both need to start being honest with themselves and each other on what exactly they want instead of dumping all these terms and confusion on the girls. i think technically they never said they were closed off so really all zach was saying is “we’re officially closed off” but closed off only works in the villa if there are more people coming in and there aren’t. so he was basically trying to say we’re closed off in the real world too. but not enough to be bf/gf. and i think trinity was just like ok?? what does that actually mean then out of the villa?

That’s my exact point. Yes exclusive is different than just talking but they were ALREADY closed off so exclusive doesn’t make a difference, it does sound like a situationship and actually wouldn’t have if they didn’t make an announcement about it

Closed off and exclusive don’t mean the same thing though! Closed off can still allow exploitation, Exclusive is the step before becoming bf/gf on the outside. It’s always been that way. Now I don’t think it’s genuine from Zach bc like you said, it’s the final week. I don’t think it’s weird the girls having a separate convo is weird but Trinity’s journey isn’t everyone’s. I hope Kayda sees who Zach is outside of here.
