They already do that with video games. You don’t own your video games you’re renting a license to play them. That’s just like everybody buying GTA six for 80 to 100 bucks. They don’t own shit they’re just renting the game.

again if anybody's like that's not going to happen you apparently don't keep up with the times Sony has already done this they literally just delisted 500 movies and it wasn't just that they'd be listed it they removed it from people's ownership. Just completely wiped it from your library. they said it was because of their loss of the license to those movies

I get not agreeing with Sony for this but yall gave them license when yall didn’t push back on Nintendo who are doing THE EXACT SAME THING only worse cuz they placate you with a cartridge. The cartridge is just a license key. One that they could just as easily revoke in the same way
