Yes. My friends who married young didn’t do even half of the work on myself that I have done. It annoys me that me a 33 single woman somehow has to be super healed and super close to God to be worthy of a husband but my friends who met their husbands in high school didn’t. Why is it that I’m told I’m single because I need to work on myself from people who met their husbands at a college frat party who never went to church regularly and who were engaging in one night stands?

I did feel called by the holy spirit to go on a women's retreat with the girls from my church, I do believe that is God trying to set up a friend group for me before entering a relationship
