I suggest getting a LifeVac device as well. It's essential a plunger you use for when you're choking. The self heimlich is great to know too but this is just an extra tool to keep you safe 🥰

the mens boots is a good one for solo camping. I leave mens boots at the mouth of my tent and honestly it helps me w' peace of mind.

I almost forgot, a super easy way to clean your tub/shower area…. Boil 1 cup of white vinegar to a rolling boil. Add 1 cup of blue Dawn dish soap. Mix, add to a spray bottle. Spray all over the shower and leave it. I usually put the fan on and then I go run errands or whatever. I’ve left it for the whole day sometimes, the longer it sits the better it cleans. Rinse off the mixture with hot water and no scrubbing required.

Also don’t leave the bat or hammer intentionally for that use - that makes it premeditated. Just have your sports stuff or tool box always live in a spot that makes sense to your needs for your tools/sporting etc. and think outside the box for backups, an umbrella by the door, an easy to move floor lamp on your side of the bed, a handheld fan (metal costs more but worth it) on your bedside table, a fire extinguisher between your room and the front door etc.

tip for the shower. get one of those squeegee things. and use it on the tiles and shower screens after every shower. it makes in between cleans so much easier

I actually had to use the self heimlich once when I was alone - glad I took a 1st aid course - jam your sternum into the counter - it works - can't help with the anxiety that comes when eating alone after tho, I just eat a lot of soup lol
