I set it up so my emails I am cc'd on come in as a different color than ones that are directly to me. So at a glance I know if I'm being informed or directly asked to do something

I use to move everything to folders and it got insane. I’ve created categories now instead of folders. I assign the categories and use the backspace on my keyboard to send it to archive when I’m done with it. Clicking on the category label pulls up all emails assigned to the category. It’s been such a timesaver!
