As someone who likes Claudia, I've been wondering why people NEVER question Claudia. Louis narration can't be trusted & all i know is we havent heard Lestat version yet. ( from the book readers.)

I think in the second season Claudia wrote in her diary that she didn’t dream, Louis later points out that that was a lie because he say her talking/mumbling in her sleep so it’s safe to say Claudia is another unreliable narrator as is Louis and Lestat 🤷🏾♀️

I completely agree with you. Claudia used Louis against Lestat to get what she wants. She was a child a manipulative she needed Louis for her protection. Louis warned her about the coven and she didn't care. Then when things didn't go her way she wanted out. I don't think Lestat said that to her on the train at all.

i dont think claudia wrote all of the train scene in the diary. that isnt how she wrote. she never captures play by plays. she captures emotions. most likely louis created a story based on the emotions she wrote or it was embellished by daniel.

She also wrote this after she came back and definitely after she decided to plot his death. She needed Louis to be on her side and knew that Louis had already broken her trust once by reading her diaries and taking Lestats side. so why not throw something in there just in case he did again to emotionally get Louis that much more close to getting onboard.
