I mean not nearly as many as you would think. Current budget for the school district is $4.6 Billion. Average pay is $55k for the teachers but that’s not including benefits etc. Total end cost per teacher would be around $80-100k. So maybe you could add an additional 150 or so teachers to the current pool of 8,600. It’s not substantial.
