I think I knew deep down a year ago. But spent the last year wondering what I could do to make it better. Or just pushing the feelings down and not facing reality, also having a hard time acting on my feelings cause my situation wasn't ideal to leave. Then everything worked in my favour I got a job close to my parents place and was able to move back home.. felt for clarity on my own. Single for a couple months now.

I'm at the point where it's time to have that conversation with him... actually about a year past time, but am so scared of his reaction. He is an extremely emotional angry and protective type and I feel his reaction would be to automatically scream and yell at me to just get out, accuse me of being with someone else or wanting someone else and unfortunately I am financially dependent on him...I feel like I just need to write a letter pack up and leave...but I'm also terrified to do that as I am financially dependent
