As a Muslim I relate heavily. I always felt like I had to take responsibility to make things right. I had to learn to take a step back… and learn how to be more careful with my words and actions before I got to a point of where an apology had to be present. The hardest realization because I thought the truth was always expected regardless of hurting people’s feelings.. but hurting someone is wrong. The truth was never my right to speak. Your words felt like AC with a cold drink by on a really, really hot day. Thank you for reminding me of my lord and how much I love Allah swt
