This is a lot less impressive when you actually watch his games and look at the stats. He’s sitting at the top for most shots, 93rd for conversion rate, most attempts outside the box, 4th for shots inside the box, having only a 1.41x Xg efficiency (127th), 112th for passes, 183rd for distance covered… this just shows you all you need to know without even watching the games tbh. All he’s doing is waiting in the final third and getting fed pass after pass after pass, hardly ever passing the ball on attacking plays and instead taking as many shots as possible to stat pad as much as possible just so the glaze can continue.
