Emily Ann my pawpaw always had huge delicious tomatoes and he always soaked his plants in epson salt for 24 hours before he planted them I don’t know if that will help but it is a tip from him that I have always remembered

Not from a papaw, just years of golden knowledge from golden friends. Dig the holes as deep as you can, break off all the branches that will be below the soil (leave only the top 6" of the plant), put a good handful each of plain Epsom salt, compost, bone meal (in that order) Then top dress fertilizer and bone meal once a month water it in. You'll have amazing tomatoes! love you guys!

They definitely need to be pruned. The leaves shouldn't touch each other. Once one plant gets blight it will speak to the others Airflow is really important

I tried tomatoes 3 years in a row and the cherry tomatoes were the only ones that did good. It’s frustrating

Trim up some of the leaves so they aren’t all touching each other too much.. trim the bottom leaves so they don’t touch the ground.. maybe they need some nutrients whether it be plant food for fruit and bloom or epsom salt..

Mine did the exact same thing! No amount of water or fertilizer could save them. Everyone I’ve talked to this year has had issues with their tomato plants too.

My plants did that every year until I started spraying fungicide BEFORE there was any disease.

I always trim any leaves that are close to the ground off as they grow. Be sure to water at the ground level so the water doesn’t splash on the leaves and create disease. Also in hot and humid environments be sure to leave plenty of space in between plants for air to flow. Check out peroxide spray for treatment and preventative measures. It does help a lot!

Pick off all the blight and put grass clippings on the dirt all around where the tomato stems are. It helps keep the water on the ground from splashing onto the leaves when it rains, my great uncle taught my mom this trick years ago and it truly helps!! This is what our tomato plants looked like after picking off all the blight and adding leftover grass clippings, picking off all the blight will help your plants to grow taller and stronger ❤️you got this!!
