Just my opinion not knocking you your doing jt right , but that second vent cut you didnt have to cut it twice just that once and used the bigger half and no have no waste but good work 🤞🏽💯

Just wondering as a floor guy of 40 years told me that starting and ending pieces had to be at least 6-8 inches long. He said if not it can mess with the integrity of the flooring. I am bringing this up cause of the piece that was cut for behind the vent. Is this ok? Not saying anyone is wrong, I am legitimately curious if this is ok. I am trying to learn more about laying flooring
