He's thirsty. And every time his body gives out and he stops to catch his breath, shouting follows. The fear in his eyes says everything. He knows that if he keeps stopping, he may be beaten. No elephant should have to live like this. We spoke with Kaiasai's owner, and he made it clear: unless we compensate him and take Kaiasai away, he will continue working in these brutal conditions every single day.
