@emiliamariehome: Pasta potluck for my latest Excuse to Gather with @Bob’s Red Mill 🍝✨ After hosting a soup swap last year, I thought it would be fun to give a pasta potluck a try this year! Each of my friends brought a unique pasta dish for us to share for dinner and to pack up as meal prep for the week ❤️ For pastas we had: - Bolognese with homemade fettuccine - Gnocchi with peas and pancetta - Orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage - Rigatoni with artichoke, spinach, and toasted breadcrumbs - Ravioli with brown butter sage sauce I also made a burrata starter with roasted balsamic strawberries and a flourless orange cake with my favorite @bobsredmill Super Fine Almond Flour. And if you want to try making pasta from scratch, I follow the below ratio: - 2 cups @bobsredmill “00” Flour - 4 whole eggs - 2 egg yolks - 1tsp of olive oil + a pinch of salt You’ll simply make a well with your flour, before adding your olive oil and salt. Scramble your eggs together in a bowl, and slowly add the mixture to the center of your well, beating with a fork while incorporating the flour along the perimeter of your well. Repeat this until all your eggs are added. I recommend using a bench scraper to help form your dough into a ball, which you’ll knead until it slightly springs back. Rest for 30 minutes in the fridge before rolling out by hand or with a pasta maker.
