for goodwill if they are going to cut cost for the customer it needs to fall on the delership not the tech. you should be payed the full hours and if they want to cut labor cost then reduce labor price for goodwill not hours.

I literally quit a job a few months ago cause I was missing 43hrs. No joke. I did the jobs, customer picked up and paid but nothing was ever cashed out so I never got paid. Then when I raised a fuss about it they magically “disappeared”. Yeah walked outta that place after 7 years of hard loyal work. Love m new place of employment tho!! No hidden time and when I finish the job I get my hours. So much less stress

Yup, and this is why I quit being a technician and joined the military. Steady paycheck regardless of the amount of work. Some days I get paid to sweep shadows or mop up rain.
