My favorite is walking up to will call at the theater to see if they have anything available. May not be as cheap as Tkts but it’s way more exciting!

also there are two lines, one to the right of the steps is for musicals, on the left is plays, never that many people in the play line.

Rushing shows is a far cheaper way. Show up like an hour before the box office opens, you’ll be able to get tickets from anywhere between $30-50 and they’re usually orchestra level seats
