She’s says that “you’re late, you can’t do it”. In any upper chemistry class being more than 15 mins late makes you unable to attend the lab or take part in the experiment bc the first 15 mins goes over the procedure and hazards. This is quite common practice.

As a literal lab tech, the lab manuals are for US to follow for lab setup. If a teacher requests extras of somrthing, we're supposed to comply and grab extra if they need it. We're literally there to assist the teacher. This lab manager is in the wrong.
