it could be so many other factors than skincare tbh like if she has been drinking or doing any substance a lot more or if she recently got on a new medication that disrupts her hormones or etc it's low-key pretty rude to make assumptions on why someone is going through something when you aren't them

It could also be that she’s switching products too often. When you constantly rotate your skincare products, even great products can backfire because your skin never gets the chance to like adjust, Overusing or frequently changing products can disrupt your skin’s natural balance, so it’s not always the product that’s the problem it’s because of the inconsistency (talking from google+experience)
