I have t had a baby in 15years BUT I swear you just described EXACTLY how I felt. I could never put it into words, but hearing you say this, I felt every single word as if it was 15 yrs ago. I promise you sweetie it will get better. Just keep moving… I heard someone say “postpartum can’t hit a moving target” so try to stay busy. I’m not trying to say you HAVE PPD, but I know, I DID. I had it with both of my babies.

Yes I felt like this until I stopped bf my first. I’m a week postpartum with my second and the diapers are so not sexy on me but I really don’t feel like I LOOK bad. But I feel gross. Also the postpartum BO makes me want to shower all the time

Only 3 weeks with my third baby but YES. I found dressing up (even going to buy a new size jeans), getting my hair and make up down, and leaving the home without baby occasionally makes me feel SOOO much cleaner and better about myself. It’s refreshing.

Yes! I’m 8 weeks pp and just feel crappy. I don’t feel like myself and I hate it. I do have ppd so that might be part of it

It’s the milk production. As soon as I stopped nursing I stopped feeling like this. I had 7 and it was this way each time. Not sure if it was considered ppd bc back then it wasn’t talked about really.

Absolutely not you’re taking care completely of another person and before all you did take care of yourself it’s OK once a week spend three hours on you not the baby not your husband on you think that’ll help

Did you feel good when you were pregnant? I know when I’m pregnant I feel so pretty and strong. Leaving that body is a mind shift for sure. To me it’s kinda the same a body builders.. they work up to the show, they cut, workout, and dedicate everything they have. The show is over and they have their splurge meal (ice cream, pizza, etc) and within days they feel terrible. They have this crash almost and some slip into some kind of depression
