Literally seeing like 50 order 66 survivors out of 10k jedi is not undermining at all. And also a lot of them are bokken jedi too like Ezra so those aren’t fully counted

also they might have survived Order 66, but how many of them survived the Inquisitors or other Jedi hunters? Also, Jedi are an integral part of the Star Wars universe and it’s rare to find a story that doesn’t involve them at all. It doesn’t help that we don’t know a lot of the names of the Jedi who fell in O66 either

Honestly, a realistic number would be at least 10% or even 50% would not be unusual. So I would say 1,000 to 2,000 Jedi would be reasonable (and in a giant galaxy means still less than 1 Jedi per 10-50 planets) would be reasonable.
