@ivi3_v33: Someone once said, “You became strong because you had to be.” And I felt that. Because there were times when it seemed like it took a group of people to stand against me, while I stood alone fighting battles no one could see. I learned to protect myself because the people I thought would protect me didn’t. I learned to speak up because staying silent only hurt me. I learned to keep going because giving up was never an option. What some people call “being difficult” is really the result of surviving things they never had to face. I didn’t become this version of myself overnight. I became her through heartbreak, disappointment, betrayal, and growth. And I’m proud of the person I had to become.
