I think that’s true to an extent, but I feel the term is being used a bit too broadly. Many religious people also support feminism, so I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive. I do agree that it can be more difficult for some LGBTQ+ people to feel close to religion because of their experiences. Though that’s just my perspective. God loves you, and whether you believe in Him or not, you are still worthy of love. Wishing you all the best! <3

definitely not all religions I'm a Hellenism and I worship the Greek gods and if I remember correctly the ancient Greeks believed that love was just love and today there aren't many (if any if I remember correctly) rules about love and stuff

Rs, there are 5 world wide religions that take up most of the population, all 5 of those religions restrict women and make them have to obey men

It's kind of dependent what you follow , and if they're polytheisk or monotheistic and most Abrahamick religions are discriminatory against things like abortions, LGBTQIA+, women, etc. i'm a part of a religions that believes in multiple gods and some gods are gay i'm a helenic paganistic polythiest (probably spelled something wrong there)

I think it really is based off the religion we're talking about. I am supposing it's Christianity because that is what is usually popular to talk about, but if we're speaking on the career, usually we are not allowed to support what it does, but we are also not allowed to bash, hurt discriminate or feel better than anyone in my community because it is a sin and everyone has sinned. there is no velocity of sins, lying and being queer is at the same level according to the Bible, so I'm pretty sure everyone has lied but they are not bashed and hurt for their beliefs. whoever does that to clear people is wrong and that is not a correct representation of the Christian beliefs

Yea no you can still be religious but also have an open mind. There are many of Christians, who don’t believe how the Bible is interpreted nowadays that’s why we see more queer Christians talk about how the Bibles teachings are wrong about queer love and ect. Same goes for other religions especially the pagan religion and even Hindu religion! Many of their gods represent different sexes at the same time and show queer relationships in mythology stories.
