if you let TikTok do close caption on your videos you can have it edit out the silent parts so there are no gaps.

I've stopped using the cheap mic and started using my phones and putting on the noise reducer setting and have noticed a huge difference. Also I always feel like my lighting is off, I wear glasses and the glare is horrible.

Being sensitive to sounds has saved me because if it annoys ME editing I know someone else would hyperfixate on it

I fell prey to the tiny microphone desire. They look professional! But the sound quality was NOT good and apparently isn’t until you get to those expensive Rhode ones

the thing about audio i learned in my classes was that you’ll think something is really easy to hear over music- because you know what’s being said. ALWAYS go a few steps down below what you think is just fine, so people watching dont have to watch twice to hear it all

So many people have what I feel like is the stereo effect? Like how annoying it it is when you’re watching a show and you have to turn it up to hear what they’re saying, but then it down because the music or the sound effects are so blaring they’re overwhelming.
