Guys… as a chronically ill person, this joy isn’t because you HAVE a condition. It’s because something was wrong and you finally got an answer, a validation that your pain is real, and an identifier to put to it as well as a path to treatment (if possible)

Guys, being undiagnosed is the worst feeling ever. You know something’s wrong, you can feel your body isn’t right, but you don’t have that white sheet of paper saying you ACTUALLY have something. She’s happy she finally knows what’s wrong with her, and doesn’t have to keep thinking “maybe I really don’t have anything and I’m just overthinking..”. It’s the best feeling ever to be diagnosed, but we aren’t glad to have the disease.
