Not the first time I've seen it, and also not the dumbest thing I've seen. at least you're bringing something big enough to carry what you're buying. had a guy once whenever I was working at Lowe's that didn't bother to measure his friends truck bed and it was only about 8 ft long with the tailgate down but they were buying 16 ft boards we got them all loaded in and tied them together and he had to stay in the bed of the truck because there was still 8 ft hanging out and it was wanting to tip over. My coworker asked him if he wanted a red flag (you have to tag anything that long or you can get pulled over because it's unsafe got to have something to draw people's attention so they don't run into the wood hanging out of your truck or trailer. instead of thanking him for trying to keep him out of a ticket he went off on the guy. dude was an absolute idiot. and somehow that's not the wildest I've ever seen
