I’m on Zillow flex and yes they tell us that if we don’t use Zillow loans then we get no leads or low leads

Yeah, if I had two offers come in on my house and one was from rocket mortgage or Quicken Loans or somebody like that and the second one was from somebody like you, you’re getting the business. Your clients gonna win.

I’ve never heard of this before an our team does spend thousands of dollars per month on Zillow unfortunately. We’ve never received notification that we need to steer them to Zillow loans. I will look into it though they’re always doing something behind the scenes, aren’t they?

But as a real estate agent, if I have two offers that are equal in every way and one is with a local mortgage broker and the other is with like rocket mortgage or somebody like that, I’m gonna advise my client to look more seriously at the local lender. Because you guys care much more about the clients than the big mortgage houses do

What you’re talking about is probably illegal also, but it’s not called steering. Steering is a real estate agent only showing a person Homes in a certain type of neighborhood. Like only showing African-American buyers and what might be considered a all black neighborhood or majority black neighborhood. Staring usually applies to race or some sort of status.
