They talk about how they provided the bare minimum. But don’t wanna go to a nursing home. My thing is what’s wrong with a nursing home ? Don’t you have food, shelter, and clothes ? Amazing how they realize that none of that matters if you aren’t treated right, when they are in the position! lol

My mom used to stay in her room 24/7 and only came out for stuff like school, working, or making herself dinner and usually led to making us dinner(except for the times where she told us to “fend for ourselves”). Till this day she flexes me having to learn how to cook for me, my older and younger brother(they don’t and still can’t cook), AND HER😭. As if making your 8yr old learn how to cook by himself and beating me wit a belt if I messed something up was her greatest accomplishment as my mother(this went on until I was 13 and only stopped because we went HOMELESS🤦🏾)

Their mindset is always I’m older I’m right you’re young you’re wrong you don’t know nothing cause you’re a kid and they’re the adult they know everything. Sometimes kids probably know something you don’t as a parent and they can help you. They think you owe them respect and they think they don’t have to respect you just cause your young, when you mistreat a child it leaves a stain on the children parents have to be careful how they treat they’re children.
