Just an interesting thing I would like to point out with the sample size of me because it’s only something I noticed about myself: when I had vision enough to read books visually, I was able to spell a lot better than I do now that I can only access Audiobooks. There is nothing wrong with reading audiobooks. I still consider that reading. However, at least for myself, I have found the need to add supplementary brain exercises and just keeping my ability to spell up to snuff since I’m not taking in any of that information visually and because it is more of a struggle now. Anyway, this felt worth mentioning.

This country has designed this all purposefully. We work the majority of our waking hours. We don’t have enough of everything we need and very little, if anything of what we want. So we spend the few hours we have free trying to cope. I can’t calm down enoghh most days to crack a book. Last book I read was in 2024. I’ve started a few and read pretty far in but I am too filled with anxiety and exhausted. Worried all the time.
